Metal sculptures primary colours

Usually I avoid painting pictures of other people's art, but these sculptures appear to belong to the public. Somewhere among the 100 or so sculptures that run along the bike path near the train tracks in Mile End/Park Ex, there was a small plaque with the name of a metal sculptor, so perhaps there is a person to attribute all this work to, I will continue to look into it. The purpose of painting these sculptures was to better understand the colours, value, textures and shapes. They appear to have been made from a variety of industrial metal scrap cleverly welded together. The artist has an eye for line and rhythm, for instance, the long central pieces connect the top and bottom elements, and three cog/wheels give a sense of repetition.

In this work, many of the pieces were painted with enamel, maybe ceramic, there were a variety of blues, greens, yellow, and red. Interspersed with rusty steel mesh it made for quite the drama. In the background is the lumber yard I have painted a few times.

The piece on the left was a twisted lattice of steel bits in blue, orange, red and yellow, with a wide funnel on top that looked like a radar dish. To the right, the artist had installed a streamlined white and green piece on top of a tree trunk. There was a massive billboard in the background that I omitted, the idea here was to emphasize the sculptures without having an overwhelming background to look at.
