Park Angrignon on a weekend is inundated with local picnic goers and people walking around, but on a weekday as it turns out, there were not many people there at all. For painting that made things easier, I could set up my bike and paint anything with some peace and quiet. Several areas in the park are roped off, so the wild flowers and trees can grow naturally. The yellow flowers here are actually ragweed, maybe golden rod, while the violet flowers I am not sure what they are. All the colours had a yellow-orange 'sandy' tint due to the lack of rain lately.

At several points around the park there are metal grills installed on concrete platforms. This one has been used a lot, it was covered in grease and grime. It made for a neat contrast with the lush, colourful greenery in the background.

The pond was almost completely covered in pond scum, with some water lilies mixed in. Its a tough scene to paint due to the amount of detail and variety of greens. Paint it too fast it will look off, overwork it and it looks off. It worked out all right, a bigger piece of paper would have helped.
