Across st Ambrose street near the adult education center there is an enormous parking lot, like half an acre of asphalt, with just a few cars parked here and there, and incongruously, a camper trailer in the distant corner that looked like people were living there. Finding a bit of shade at the far side of the parking lot, and wearing my boonie hat for more protection, I was impressed by the amount of and the size of the graffiti tags around here. Once again, PJD25 strikes again, in four different places. Using the actual 'designs' of the local graffiti, I replicated my initials on the train wall (left) the concrete dividers (lower center) the long wall (right), and then on the bottom right with my normal markings. The original plan was to paint the radio tower, but the painting seemed nice enough and I liked the way the sky dried so I left it as is.

With a smaller piece of paper I took on the radio tower scene, with the 'ZONEK' graffiti in the foreground, and my initials next to it. Spending time painting around Montreal, especially st Henri, and I have seen the ZONEK tag line just about everywhere. Another one named MONET is also prevalent. I met one of the graffiti artists once when painting a
train crossing, in fact, I daubed in his figure as he was walking down the path. He never did say his tag name, perhaps it was ZONEK!?
