This so called secret garden is a secret no more. Never mind that there is a big sign outside advertising it and giant iron gates that are wide open welcoming in the public for free, but now Cilei knows about it! We rode out there today on the canal path and visited the garden behind the Chateau Manor Ramezay now a museum. In the old days it was a type of cottage for aristocrats with a large flower and vegetable garden. Now its much smaller but still has the pruned shrubs, flowers and various fruits and vegetables growing around. I stood under a fruit tree, pomegranate, to get some shade. A tourist talked to me for awhile, he said that he had sketch books with him and I encouraged him to make a sketch today but he seemed reluctant. The weather wont get much better than this in Montreal!
