The holiday lights are coming out now, this building had turquoise sting lights lining its windows. Painting at night is hard enough, but tonight the wind chill got down to a bitter -13 Celsius. The sky and brick wall were not drying very fast. So about half way through the painting, I went into Green Canadian, a nearby fruit and veg store, to buy some bananas and other items. It also gave the painting some time to dry. After doing my shopping, I went back to the same spot and did the detailing. I could not see the shade of turquoise, it just looked bluish grey, but now that it is on the blog it looks great. Too bad I got a drop on the sky, near one of the stars. It looks like a supernova!
