Before too long there will be a lot of these palette cleansers, the pad of paper I am using (Fabriano watercolour paper) has 60 sheets in it. The original idea was to use this pad, which is really inexpensive, to do some design and colour tests in preparation for a larger, finished work. I may still do that but for now I am having a good time painting out on location instead of cooped up in the home office/studio. My home studio is half of our kitchen table with a grey cotton table cloth stacked with art supplies. This palette cleanser was from the cool/green/yellow half of the palette, it depicts an endless boardwalk going through the city. There is one like this in New York although I have never been there. 9 x12" watercolour paper, watercolour, July 2020
