After the conference in Japan I had a few ideas for paintings, probably from the notebooks I had during the conference where I made the occasional doodle. This was done using the 'Dreamtree' technique where I place a large blob of very wet paint on the paper and let it dry overnight. That creates the wild watery effects and electric outlines. I have no idea why it is called Japan #4, maybe there are other ones in my pile of paintings? I do enjoy the portal idea, I should use it again some time.
