Abstract Flowers

 These are a few of the mixed media abstract flowers I did while living in London Ontario during the last year of my PhD there. The idea was to create some eye catching paintings that would sell. I took them to an art in the park show and people were interested but I didn't sell anything. One of them is framed at my parents house. There is a lot to like about these, including bold lines, bright colours, and a variety of techniques, they just need to be bigger! They are 5x7 " cold press, watercolour and Chinese black ink (mixed media) done in 2004
