Peonies in the Parking Lot

While on my way back from picking up a parcel I saw these peonies in the parking lot. I figured that it was a good time for Peter to pick a pack of pickled peppers. And make a painting! There was a neat contrast between the landscaped flowers and the rows of cars. Right next to the scene was the local fast food restaurant with a long line up of cars waiting for drive through pick up. A lady stopped to talk a bit, she was a painter but said she would rather take a picture and paint at home, and was impressed that I could stand by my bike on this walkway in the midst of the chaotic parking lot.
