A future without peanut butter

One of the re-occurring themes in my abstract paintings is a dystopian future where smiley or frown-face characters live behind oval glass windows in oddly shaped buildings. The thing that really concerns me about a dystopian future is that there may not be any peanut butter. What a tragedy. First Romeo and Juliette, then there was no peanut butter. The only reason I named it this way was the colour of the central rings which look a lot like the spreadable confection. This was a also a palette cleanser, after doing a lot of painting over the weekend my palette was in need of some cleaning, and required fresh paint to be squeezed. Its one of my favorite things, besides peanut butter, is squeezing paint from the tubes onto the palette.
