Bus reflecting in bus
MC Escher did a print called Three Worlds, I linked the wikipedia page there. In the print, you see a goldfish under the water, trees reflecting on the water, and leaves floating on the water. Here, I found a parking lot near Rosemont station next to the bus depot. There were dozens of busses parked there which offered a rare opportunity to paint a stationary bus for any length of time. The windshield of the bus was reflecting the image of another bus, and you could see the parked cars behind the bus. There was also a tint, and the interior, and the parking blockers in the foreground. That made for five worlds to paint here. I started with a detailed outline, then applied the tint with a sun highlight. Unfortunately I forgot to maintain the highlight, which was sensational, it was a little overwhelming to paint five things superimposed. It worked out okay though. If I ever want to paint busses I know where to go now.
