One last painting from today to show, These two large red pots had orange construction signs in front of them creating a rare red-orange combination in the foreground. What made the scene were the numerous buildings arranged like a puzzle in the background, and the sun piercing through a nearly overcast sky. On the right is a new condo they built a few years ago, on the left is the Place des Arts spectacle building with theaters inside. The diagonal element is one of those light standards that projects colours at night. The central skyscraper in the background is place Villa Maria and the University of Quebec and Montreal. Its really the heart of downtown Montreal here. I was standing on the corner of Maisonneuve and st Laurent boulevards.
