Blue Moon, Imaginary City

After painting the harvest moon paintings (I showed one a few days ago on the blog and instagram) my palette was very dirty, there was carbon black all over the place. If I do night scenes again I'll try to use a separate palette just for that. This was done after the harvest moon, you can tell it was inspired by the idea of a blue moon. The rest of the scene is an imaginary town, there are two light sources, one from the moon, and from the orange glow of the windows. I had initially labelled this palette cleanser #36 in the series but then had another #36, so I will just count this as a regular abstract.
