Palette Cleanser #13

Lucky number 13, or unlucky 13 depending on your culture. By coincidence there appear to be 13 objects in this painting. After a lot of painting, the little blobs of colour on my palette are grey and dirty so I wash off the top of the blobs with clean water and a brush, then use the extra paint for these spontaneous paintings. The purple in the middle is quinacridone purple, a very unique colour that came on the market around 2017. It is the most purple, the only comparison would be mineral violet (manganese), thioindigo violet, or carbazole dioxazine purple. It is a very psychedelic painting, it would make a good puzzle or something. Maybe one day I'll make printed T shirts!
