Beaubien Station, Orange Line Metro, Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie

Got to keep painting while the weather is nice. I was out at the bulk food store Anatol today and stopped to make a few paintings of metro stations. Unfortunately, there were a lot of people around and I could only find one place to sit, I wore the mask just in case. This is looking at the waiting area behind Beaubien the green roof is on top of the main entrance and the pillars on the left are a bus waiting shelter. Since I finished the 27 stations of the green line I was contemplating my next move. Considering my sciencework load, I am not going to be able to do a ton of painting in September, so I just went out and made a few paintings without pressuring myself to paint the entire metro line. I also decided that from now on the metro paintings have to include people, at least one per painting. It presented a lot of additional challenges, such as drawing, timing, and shading. The trees are changing colour already, some orange green shades visible.

Update: In November of 2021 I returned to make a painting of the front entrance.
