Numbering paintings would have been a great idea from the get go, then I'd know how many I painted and approximately when, at least the order. Instead of naming these palette cleansers I just put a number on them, sort of like a brand. This one was an exploration of blues and browns, with a bit of purple and yellow mixed in for variety. I had a pressure packed week and the painting kind of shows it, like the walls closing in on the central object. Or, its the number one display in the toilette bowl?
